How difficult would it be to have an industry shift from ground vehicles to affordable flying craft? How safe could this be as an option for mass transit? Like, little commuter drones, 2, 3 person craft if necessary, tiny cargo space, and the ability, within a certain distance, to send it back home for the day until you need it to pick you up so as to minimize a need for parking? I’m thinking from a pretty rural perspective on this one right now, specifically like, a work commute. There is no easy option but I feel like some of the great minds could really capitalize on this and bring about a massive shift if they came prepared with a halfway feasible plan and presented it to the right individuals. Flying pod, fucking jetpacks. More of this, less of whatever the fuck is going on now. I am obviously not the person to engineer this but we know it can be done. 
Using as little electromag as possible, or harnessing the natural field of the planet if it must be used; humans are so fucking careless with their electromagnetism and it will bite the entire species in the ass if they don’t get it together. ?
