I have found that by engaging there have been pros and cons. My practice has led me to the belief that everything is possible, so it has opened up doorways for paranoia in the past. That in and of itself might seem negative, but in a way fear has actually led me to becoming a better person. The conscience of consciousness, right?

Is it divine providence or your own mortal guilt? Bold of us to assume the two are not connected. Actively taking a look at my life, and consciously working to change my actions so that they do not harm me or others, led those entities to change what they had to say as well. I am not by any means saying you are not decent! But all of us, we can always be better. Some hippie I once loved told me that to be attractive, you must be magnetic. I have found that the energy (because that is really what these entities are, is energy) drawn to you usually correlates with your own. You can’t elevate to the light unless you do your shadow work. Enlightenment is not cushy and feel good, it is a painful process of gaining awareness of the connection around you. I am of the opinion that occult & magic are just terms for physics of a quantum realm we are not able to explain as of yet. To become involved in such activity seems to be like eating that forbidden fruit of the tree in biblical Eden, once you know, you know, and it is ever harder to stop seeking truth.

Your power is directly tied to the strength of your belief. It took me falling on my knees at 2am in front of Jupiter, Saturn, and a full moon and begging my gods (I use this term loosely) for the strength to quit drinking. I believed it would work. I knew it would work. I had to know it could not fail. And, behold, by All-Father, it worked. I can let myself down, sure, but the gods as I know them? Letting them down was unthinkable.

Believe in yourself as the good person you are, or the better person you will strive to be. It sounds as though you are afraid of the darkness, and that darkness is a part of you. That is okay. Shadows are creatures of the light you cast, to help you grow as a person. As your light grows, thus so do the shadows diminish.

The only enemy is fear. Fear is useless and temporary, but if you must feel fear, ask yourself first and foremost, why do I fear? You will not find an easy answer to that question. Keep your intention pure and put in the work and the rest will come.
